CRITICALLY ILL TEEN ASKS MAKE-A-WISH TO REDIRECT THE MONEY MEANT FOR HER. USES IT PAY FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR MORE THAN 120 CHILDREN

Carly Fox, 18, from London, Canada, has an autoimmune disorder that causes pain throughout her body. Her doctor advised her to consider taking advantage of the Make-A-Wish southwestern Ontario-an organization that makes dreams and wishes come true for critically ill children.

Carly and some of her family members got tickets for a cruise in the Mediterranean year, by the cruise was cancelled because of the pandemic.

Instead of postponing the trip, Carly asked the foundation to donate the money meant for her cruise to a London anti-poverty agency called LifeSpin.

“We were blown away that this young woman’s wish was to help children whose families are struggling in poverty,” lifeSpin’s executive director Jacquie Thompson commented. That money will help at least 120 children receive Christmas presents this year.

CARING GAY PENGUIN COUPLE ADOPT ANOTHER NEGLECTED EGG AND BECOME DADS FOR THE SECOND TIME

Back in 2018, the staff at sea life Sydney Aquarium, Australia, noticed a same sex penguin couple – Sphen and Magic. The two male penguins used to take swims together and were rarely apart.

Soon after the breeding season started, the caring couple began collecting stones for their nest. Then the staff noticed they were trying to hatch a rock. Impressed how well Sphen and Magic cared for their “egg”, the zookeepers placed a real egg for them to foster.

Everyone at the Aquarium was happy when the proud dad’s gave life to their first Chick – Lara. This year, Sphen and Magic become foster parents again. They have successfully nurtured an egg for the second time.

“The parent birds treat the chick as their own. They lovingly feed it, keep it warm, and defend it from any passers by,”the zookeepers said.
